Summer Camp

Our award winning summer camps are a fantastic way for children to learn about responsible pet ownership, animal handling and daily care. We offer fun, field trips and furry friends - you can’t beat that!

NEW FOR 2020!
The same great camp, online!

COVID-19 has made us think a little differently about camp this year, and shift in a new direction. We are thrilled to introduce:

Animaniacs Online: Virtual Summer Camp at the Humane Society!

Animaniacs Online will offer an alternative to the traditional camp model; a camp where kids can still interact with friends, connect with a camp counsellors, and most importantly, learn about the exciting world of animals - all from the comfort of home!

Our summer camp is shifting online, to bring an amazing week of animal exploration to campers ages 6 and up.

This isn't just more screen time. Animaniacs Online includes presenters, field trips, crafts, team activities and so much more. Campers will be able to visit with animals from all over the world, from the comfort and safety of home!

So how does it work?

The week before camp, parents will pick up their child's “Camp in a Bag”, which will have all of the materials that they need for the upcoming week. If you live outside the area, please reach out, as we have options for you.

Each registrant will be in a group of campers. They will meet with their counsellor and group every morning for some "get to know you" activities, and meet as a larger group shortly after, where we will begin our day.

Once a week, campers and their families will be invited to join our Family Fun Night, where we will do activities like Bingo, Trivia, Movie Nights, and craft nights.

Location: Your home! As long as you have an internet connection, you can join our camp from anywhere in the world.

Join is on Thursday, July 2nd and Friday, July 3rd for a "Pay what you can" day, from $15 to $30
